I mean seriously, what good are they? Does anyone have anything positive to say about having children? Apparently not. And now they are also responsible for destroying the environment. At least according to an Oregon Study that says having children...
is the most destructive thing that can be done to the environment.
So I've got a great idea. Let's all just stop having children. That way the earth can stay healthy and pollution won't keep growing. Of course no one will be around to see it, but hey, sounds like a good plan to me.
My wife and I have 4 children and we get plenty of comments and looks about the size of our family. Which is funny, because to me 4 doesn't seem like that many, as many of our friends have 5, 6, 7, 8, or 13! But people seem to think we're nuts and often ask "you're done, right?". We sacrifice much to have our children. If we had stopped at 2, we'd have more stuff and more money and get to do more things and be happier, or so we're told. Watching them play together really makes me thankful and blessed to have them.
Today's anti-family world scares me especially with how accepted abortion and gay marriage are, and our current President and his very liberal agenda. I continue to pray for families and their children to stay strong and live their faith in these very trying times.

This is ridiculous. Gay people have loving families too you know? There are plenty of gay parents out there who are positive role models for their kids. Your assertion that gay marriage=anti-family is disgusting, insulting and ignorant.
Gay marriage is creating a world where boys are raised without fathers and girls without mothers. How is a young boy going to grow into a leader of a family without a fatherly example or a young girl going to learn to be a woman. Sure some will be fine, but in general society will begin to suffer as the traditional family is destroyed. Sure it sounds all doom and gloom, but it's happening before our very eyes no matter your beliefs.
Marriage was defined by God as between one man and one woman, and he destroyed cities that ran rampant with homesexuality.
We need values in place to make the world a better place.
Well I don't believe in God and I think the definition of marriage is when two people commit themselves to each other for life, no matter who they are.
The divorce rate among heterosexuals is around 50 percent. Do you blame gay marriage for that? And I have first-hand knowledge of kids from gay families who are turning out just fine and attending top-notch colleges while excelling in and out of the classroom.
And they learn to be good PEOPLE if they have good parents. Period. It doesn't matter whether they're men or women. Good parents raise good kids, and children of gay families have friends and other people in their lives of both genders besides their parents. You make it seem like they all live in a bubble.
I think society will begin to suffer as the religious zealots continue to condemn people for no good reason. The fact that you seem to condone the destruction of a city simply because of the presence of homosexuals shows the kind of danger we're really dealing with here.
We need open minds and acceptance to make the world a better place.
Well I believe in God and I think the definition of marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. There are lots of reason for the high divorce rate - alot of it comes from a lack of morals and the "me first" attitude people have to day, instead of the sacrifice and commitment needed to build a healthy marriage.
I don't disagree that good kids can come from a situation like that, but I think the good ones are going to be far fewer than the ones who will be troubled and not know their role in society.
I'm also not condoning what God did at Sodom and Gomorrah. I do believe we are living in a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah with all the immoral living and selfish behavior.
I'll be praying!
