Here is a prayer for those that are sick...

Almighty and Everlasting God, the eternal salvation of those who believe in You, hear us on behalf of Your servants who are sick...

for whom we humbly beg the help of your mercy, so that, being restored to health, they may render thanks to you in your Church...

Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Eat slow to help lose weight

I am extremely guilty of eating large amounts of food fast. That's no secret to those who know me. I've also noticed that when I do eat slow and under control, I don't feel hungry and do feel better. So why not do this all the time you ask? Good question. It all sounds so simple, yet it's very hard to do.

Help Corina fight cancer!

I don't know of anyone else quite like Corina Rick. She is incredibly positive, very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I have known her since 1993 and she's never changed. She always has a kind word and a funny memory whenever I run into her.

Corina is currently battling melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, and she needs our help! She did receive some good news on February 20th...

The results on the CT Scan was NEGATIVE! there is no cancer in the brain, liver or anywhere in the abdomen... All that is left is in the lung, and they will be removed on the 27th of February.

Keep Corina and her family in your prayers!

Here's the flyer on the next fund raising event...

The 100

Saw this at The Wayne Fontes Experience it's our buddy Kevin Antcliff and his quest to Lose 100 Pounds. I think he can do it!

My own weight is something I always battle. I did make a big move a couple of years ago and dropped from 318 pounds to 228 pounds and never felt better. I now range from the mid-230's to low 240's, but am starting again to get that weight back down!
