I haven't had a chance to attend a broadway musical yet, but given the performances by the cast of "Phantom" at the Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City, I won't have to travel to New York to see a terrific performance. Miracle Productions describes themselves as...
a professional production company offering high quality "Broadway" style musicals to Northern Michigan. Our mission is to provide a performance venue and employment for the immensely talented college men and women who return here each summer.
That sums up the show in a nutshell. The performances by Trevor Kolle (Phantom) and Hanna Brammer (Christine) blew me away. I was very impressed. The rest of the cast provided many outstanding moments and provided a wonderful evening of entertainment. We would have gone back the next day if we could have and watched it again.
Miracle Productions is currently getting ready to perform "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" in August and you can get information about showtimes and tickets at www.miracleproductionstc.com.

I don't know of anyone else quite like Corina Rick. She is incredibly positive, very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I have known her since 1993 and she's never changed. She always has a kind word and a funny memory whenever I run into her.
Corina is currently battling melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, and she needs our help! She did receive some good news on February 20th...
The results on the CT Scan was NEGATIVE! there is no cancer in the brain, liver or anywhere in the abdomen... All that is left is in the lung, and they will be removed on the 27th of February.
Keep Corina and her family in your prayers!

Mary was surprised I had never "walked for life" before, but Sunday we walked in the annual pro-life march sponsored by the Grand Traverse Area Right to Life. We loaded up the boys covered with blankets in the stroller, and we set off on the 1/2 hour march through downtown Traverse City with around 100 others. Claire walked almost the entire way herself! Only one guy yelled at us out of his car window, so that was nice.
It's for a great and important cause so we were glad to participate!
